Let people message you on Telegram with a single scan. A Telegram QR code opens a direct chat with your Telegram account, channel, or group — no username to remember, no search to run. Scan and start chatting.
Perfect for communities, content creators, customer support teams, crypto projects, news channels, and businesses that use Telegram to connect with their audience.
A Telegram QR code contains your Telegram username. When someone scans it, the Telegram app opens directly to your profile or a new chat with you. From there, they can send a message, join your channel, or follow your group. If Telegram is not installed, the user is directed to the web version or app store.
Telegram usernames can be hard to remember and easy to mistype. A QR code eliminates that problem. Instead of telling people "find me at @yourusername", you just show them a code to scan. It is faster, more reliable, and works even when you are offline or in a noisy environment.
For channels and groups, a Telegram QR code is an invitation tool. Print it on flyers, display it at events, or add it to your website — every scan becomes a potential new subscriber or community member.
Telegram QR codes work with usernames, not phone numbers. To create one, you must have a Telegram username set up in your account. Open Telegram, go to Settings, and create your username if you do not already have one.
1. Select "Telegram" from the QR code types above.
2. Enter your Telegram username (without the @ symbol).
3. Customise the QR code design.
4. Click "Generate QR Code" and download your code.
Print it on business cards, flyers, and event banners. Add it to your website or social media profiles as a "join us on Telegram" button. Display it at trade shows or conferences to grow your community. Include it in newsletters or email campaigns. Place it on merchandise or product packaging. Anywhere you promote your Telegram presence, your QR code makes joining one scan away.
