Location QR Code Generator

Location QR Code Generator

Help people find you without typing an address. A location QR code stores your exact GPS coordinates and opens them directly in Google Maps, Waze, or the phone's default navigation app. One scan and your customer has turn-by-turn directions.

Perfect for businesses without a street address that is easy to find — warehouses, event venues, market stalls, pop-up shops, parking areas, or any location that is hard to describe in words.

How does a location QR code work?

A location QR code contains latitude and longitude coordinates. When someone scans the code, their phone opens a map application with your location pinned. From there they can start navigation immediately — by car, on foot, or by public transport.

Choose your map application

You can configure which app opens when someone scans your code. Choose Google Maps for the most widely used option, Waze for drivers who prefer real-time traffic updates, or let the phone's default map application handle it. This way you can match the experience to your audience.

Why use a location QR code?

"Where exactly are you located?" is one of the most common customer questions. A location QR code answers it instantly. No misspelled street names, no confusing directions, no searching on the map. Just a pin, exactly where you are.

It is especially useful when your business is inside a larger complex, on an industrial estate, or in a location that GPS does not find easily by address alone.

How to create a location QR code

1. Select "Location" from the QR code types above.

2. Enter your latitude and longitude, or search for your address.

3. Choose your preferred map application (Google Maps, Waze, or default).

4. Customise the design and click "Generate QR Code".

Where to use your location QR code

Print it on your business card, flyers, or invitations. Display it on road signs, parking instructions, or event tickets. Add it to your website, email confirmations, or delivery instructions. Place it on your Google Business profile, social media, or booking confirmations. Anywhere someone needs to physically come to you, your location QR code gets them there without hassle.
